Operation Overboard: Summer Camp 2012
Thanks to Heidi Tennison and her team of adult and teen volunteers for another successful Summer Camp for Kids. Forty-one children participated in a week of activities. Our theme this year was aquatic. We immersed our kids in the love of God. Special thanks to Paul Zingone for his artistic creation of an underwater world. It was amazing!
Parish Maintenance: Lighting Project
On Wednesday, February 1st, installers from Lighting Solutions brought a hydraulic lift into the church and began our long awaited lighting project. New fixtures were hung from the ceiling in strategic places. They cast a wider beam of light and are easier to replace for maintenance purposes. Minor adjustments will be done on the spot lights. The next phase is the “spaceship”.

2012 Family Pasta Night
Our Family Pasta Night on January 21st was a sold out success! Grateful thanks to Susan Ciufo and the organizing team who worked so hard to make it happen. Kudos to the Kingsway Council of the Knights of Columbus who cooked up a storm. Rave reviews for the Panache Steel Band. And of course, special mention to the women who made 600 meatballs with top grade meat donated by parishioner Mirko Malenica. Images by Arthur Yeung.
